Security & privacy
Your numbers stay yours.
Privacy isn't a setting in Neural Tax. It's how the product is built: what each person can see is fixed in code and checked on the server every time.
The five-person rule
No figure an employer sees can come from fewer than five people, including each month on every trend.
Role-based access
Employees, employer admins and our staff each have a fixed set of permissions, checked on the server for every page and action.
Private documents
Uploads are encrypted before they're stored, so our storage provider sees only scrambled data. Only the owner can open them, and there's no link to forward.
Passwords and sessions
Passwords are hashed with Argon2id. Sessions end at once on a password change, suspension or role change.
Sign-in protection
Repeated failed sign-ins lock that account and address for 15 minutes; forms can require a CAPTCHA.
Audit trail
Invites, removals, role and setting changes are logged with who did it and when. Employers see their own organisation's trail.
Minimal data
No bank linking, no PAN, no salary slips required. You type your own numbers, and only what the planner needs.

Download everything we hold about you, or delete your account and its data, from Settings at any time.

Two views that never mix.
The employee's view
Their own plan, in full. Only they can see it.
- Every number they enter
- Their score, streak and Freedom Number
- Goals, tax plan, policies and documents
- Export or delete everything, any time
The employer's view
The team, never a person.
- Team averages and percentages
- How many people check in each month
- Trends over time, month by month
- A short digest by email each month
- Names and emails of people invited or asking to join, for managing seats
Never
- Anyone's income, spending, savings or score
- Who has or hasn't checked in
- Any figure for a group smaller than five
- Documents, goals, tax plans or policies
- Bank accounts or PAN (we never ask for them)
